I always love working with twins. It’s amazing to me to see how similar, yet vastly different, two humans can be. Tyler and Ali are as unique from each other as their eye colors, yet they share the same best friend. =D. Both are going to Clemson, unintentionally!
There’s no doubt a southern spring day in the mountains brings all the romance, so to say these high school sweetheart’s wedding at the Farm at Old Edwards was swoon worthy is an understatement. This day had been long awaited and anticipated by many, so the excitement was unbeatable! Allie’s attention to detail and the […]
We asked Madeline what she would tell someone about finding the “right” one, her response gave me all the feels. She said “Be patient. Know your worth and clearly communicate your expectations. Forgive your partner and don’t begrudge them for past mistakes. No one is perfect and you must wake up each day and choose to fight for your relationship and fight for your partner. Sometimes love is easy, but sometimes it is very challenging. However, as long as you BOTH are willing to fight the good fight, and honesty and loyalty lie at the center of your relationship, love will conquer all and it will be the most rewarding experience.”
“Shelby and TJ’s wedding was the perfect combination of casual and enchanting. The couple exchanged vows in front of a wooden arbor (built by the groom!) decorated with an arrangement of pink and white blooms. Shelby’s bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in shades of lavender and blush and were escorted down the aisle by groomsmen in dress shirts and ties…”
I could try and emcompass the beauty of this gal with my own words, but you’ll get a beautifully painted picture from her’s:
“Little story of mine : started high school as a broken young girl with big insecurities. High school popularity and pressure to fit in really did get the best of me. These insecurities that I had deep down were what was guiding my every move. I look back and I see a girl who would give into things God never had in store for her. I made poor decisions and treated people badly. My heart would try to compensate for my insecurities by saying and thinking things that were insanely selfish and self conceded…”
Madi and Ian were high school sweethearts, and tied the knot surrounded by 20 of their closest family and friends. The intimate ceremony took place at “the spot”. This hideaway by the lake was where Ian asked Madi to be his girlfriend in high school, where they went for important convos while managing long distance during college, and where he would ultimately propose.

Our favorite part about working with seniors is hearing how they are influencing and making an impact on their peers. You bet they’re all pretty faces, but the personalities, aspirations, and achievements within this group are what’s really impressive!! We picked a few of our faves from some of our fall sessions (more to come)!
Every single moment of your wedding day should be enjoyable, peaceful (except when that dance floor opens ayyyyye), and stress-free, and that starts from the moment you wake up! We’ve put together a few tips to help the getting ready process go smoothly so you can bask in all your Jay-Z and Beyonce king and queen-ness all day long without breaking a sweat.
I’ve been thinking about how to put this day into words, because it was such a special wedding to be a part of. Carolyn and Sebastian are yell it with me IN LUUUUHHHVVVEEEE. Like nose burns, lots of tears in the eyes, all the romance kind of love. When I asked them what they appreciate about each other, they both mentioned how well the other loves them. I could’ve guessed that! I also wanted to share a little of their perspective from the wedding day.
