Bre and Drew blew us away with their Summerour Studio wedding this past fall. Bre is a little bit of an introvert with the sweetest personality and is incredibly easy to talk to. She has a way of setting you at ease during conversation. You can tell she has tons of love for her friends […]
Kayla and Joe’s festival-inspired Atlanta backyard wedding was one of the most memorable of my career! Every detail down to the disco ball over the dance floor was intentionally chosen and representative of both Kayla and Joe. They are fun-loving souls with hippy-leaning hearts, and their family and friends know how to THROW DOWN. It […]
Finally getting around to sharing this stunning wedding at Summerour Studio last May! One of my favorite moments from this day was most definitely Megan’s first look with her father and their letter reading as a family. *cue the tears* It was so special for Megan to have an intimate moment with her parents and […]
This sweet couple. I knew I was in for a good time when they pulled out a bottle of wine at the beginning of their engagement session. I left their Athens wedding with a full heart just the same! Laughter is imminent with Kristin and Josh; they are constantly making each other laugh (and hello, […]
There’s no doubt a southern spring day in the mountains brings all the romance, so to say these high school sweetheart’s wedding at the Farm at Old Edwards was swoon worthy is an understatement. This day had been long awaited and anticipated by many, so the excitement was unbeatable! Allie’s attention to detail and the […]
We asked Madeline what she would tell someone about finding the “right” one, her response gave me all the feels. She said “Be patient. Know your worth and clearly communicate your expectations. Forgive your partner and don’t begrudge them for past mistakes. No one is perfect and you must wake up each day and choose to fight for your relationship and fight for your partner. Sometimes love is easy, but sometimes it is very challenging. However, as long as you BOTH are willing to fight the good fight, and honesty and loyalty lie at the center of your relationship, love will conquer all and it will be the most rewarding experience.”
“Shelby and TJ’s wedding was the perfect combination of casual and enchanting. The couple exchanged vows in front of a wooden arbor (built by the groom!) decorated with an arrangement of pink and white blooms. Shelby’s bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in shades of lavender and blush and were escorted down the aisle by groomsmen in dress shirts and ties…”
Madi and Ian were high school sweethearts, and tied the knot surrounded by 20 of their closest family and friends. The intimate ceremony took place at “the spot”. This hideaway by the lake was where Ian asked Madi to be his girlfriend in high school, where they went for important convos while managing long distance during college, and where he would ultimately propose.
Every single moment of your wedding day should be enjoyable, peaceful (except when that dance floor opens ayyyyye), and stress-free, and that starts from the moment you wake up! I’ve been thinking about how to put this day into words, because it was such a special wedding to be a part of. Carolyn and Sebastian are yell it with me IN LUUUUHHHVVVEEEE. Like nose burns, lots of tears in the eyes, all the romance kind of love. When I asked them what they appreciate about each other, they both mentioned how well the other loves them. I could’ve guessed that! I also wanted to share a little of their perspective from the wedding day.
