WEDDING INFO
We want you to be overwhelmed with all the feels when you look at your images, and there are a few things you should know to make sure that happens.
Trust and Connection are crucial to your experience and our best work. Being in front of a camera probably isn’t on your list of favorite things to do, so if you don’t have established chemistry with your photographer, it can be a painful experience.
Our couples know when the flowers wilt, the band packs up, and even memories fade, their photographs remain.
Are we a perfect match?
We want you to burst with excitement when you think about your wedding photographer, so being sure we are a great fit is one of our most important endeavors.
Because of that, we only take a limited number of weddings each year. Our team’s health is our top priority, and we believe our families, couples, and seniors deserve us at our very best. We choose quality over quantity so we can give our couples (that’s you) the time, communication, and energy your beautiful self deserves.
If you’re just checking photography off the list and aren’t down to expand your friend list, we won’t be a great fit. If you are wanting someone to show up with a nice camera for a few “say cheese” photos, or looking for the best bang for your buck, we’re not your girls. And you know what? That’s ok!

can i choose my photographer?
Since the style of images you receive isn't dependent on your photographer (your images will look like all the ones you see on our site!), photographers are offered based on availability. Each of our photographers are experienced and seasoned. Amanda has personally trained them to give you the Dash experience we are known for. When you hire us, think of it as hiring our whole team, not one photographer. Afterall, our entire team will be a part of the process! Our photographers are simply one part of your experience with us.

Can I book Katie or Amanda?
Amanda and Katie take a very select few number of weddings as they are overseeing Dash operations. Their coverage begins at $6000+. If you are interested in having Katie or Amanda be a part of your wedding, please email Michele at hello@dashphotography.co for more information.

DO YOU GIVE RAW OR UNEDITED FILES?
We do not offer RAW or unedited files to preserve the integrity of our brand, but don’t worry, you get all the final Hi-Res jpegs edited to our signature style (what drew you here to begin with!). We include black and white images based on our artistic choosing (and wonky light).

Do you travel?
Our photographers are always down to travel! Let us know where we'd be heading, and we'll let you know travel fees for the location.

DO YOU OFFER VIDEOGRAPHY?
We do not offer videography, but have a plethora of talented videographers we can refer.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU DELIVER?
Image count depends on hourly coverage and event schedule, so we never have the same amount of images for two events. For an 8 hour wedding day, our average delivery is between 600-800 images. For other events, a rough estimate is around 40-60 images per hour.

Do you photoshop?
Our goal is for your images to be the best and most authentic version of you! Each image is fine tuned, and we remove blemishes or other marks you weren’t born with, but we do not do extensive photoshopping. If there is an area you are concerned with, let us know! We will be aware of it during your session with how we direct you.

WHAT IS YOUr TURN AROUND TIME?
The average wedding gallery is delivered in 3-4 weeks. We send a sneak a couple of days after your wedding as to not keep you waiting for ALL the images.

CAN WE SEE PHOTOS OF YOUR ALBUMS?
Our fine art albums are one of our favorite things we offer. It’s so important to us your photos are turned into heirlooms that only gain value with time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT TO OUR WEDDING?
The good news? In 9 years, we’ve never missed a wedding (currently knocking on wood). We have to basically be dying to not show up, but if we can’t escape it, an available Dash photographer will step in. If our whole team is booked (which 99% is never the case), we have an amazing community of fellow photographers who will step in. We can assure you, your day will be covered beautifully regardless.

WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?
Do not fret! We will still create beautiful images! Be sure to check with your venue regarding a rain plan, but we got you on photos. Come in to the day open minded, and let’s have fun with it!

CAN I SEND YOU MY PINTEREST SHOT LIST?
You are welcome to send image ideas, but know we create based on knowing you and your relationship as well as our artistic style. We send you a questionnaire prior to your wedding day with our standard shot list as well as room for any special requests you might have. Otherwise, relax and enjoy the day, we got you boo!
