Kristen and Michael had to make the difficult call, like a lot of couples, to postpone their large wedding celebration due to Covid-19. However, their decision came with the most beautiful silver lining. They married in an intimate wedding in front of their families with Kristen’s grandfather serving as officiant (not an originally planned detail). The pre-wedding butterflies were still present, but Kristen and Michael were able to take in every moment, every emotion, and every conversation throughout the day; something almost impossible during large event days.
Kristen spent the afternoon getting glammed while looking out the window at the design progress out back. The sun set just in time over the alter keeping the Georgia summer temps a bit lower, and their immediate families enjoyed pre-wedding cocktails on the patio. It was the most laid back, luxuriously timeless, backyard wedding. Side note, Michael’s fitted Satin Tux by Miguel Wilson officially took the cake as my favorite groom look ever! Cheers to love through better or worse! I’m looking forward to celebrating Michael and Kristen with family and friends later this year!
