Kayla and Joe’s festival-inspired Atlanta backyard wedding was one of the most memorable of my career! Every detail down to the disco ball over the dance floor was intentionally chosen and representative of both Kayla and Joe. They are fun-loving souls with hippy-leaning hearts, and their family and friends know how to THROW DOWN. It […]
“Shelby and TJ’s wedding was the perfect combination of casual and enchanting. The couple exchanged vows in front of a wooden arbor (built by the groom!) decorated with an arrangement of pink and white blooms. Shelby’s bridesmaids wore mismatched dresses in shades of lavender and blush and were escorted down the aisle by groomsmen in dress shirts and ties…”
Madi and Ian were high school sweethearts, and tied the knot surrounded by 20 of their closest family and friends. The intimate ceremony took place at “the spot”. This hideaway by the lake was where Ian asked Madi to be his girlfriend in high school, where they went for important convos while managing long distance during college, and where he would ultimately propose.
Every single moment of your wedding day should be enjoyable, peaceful (except when that dance floor opens ayyyyye), and stress-free, and that starts from the moment you wake up! We’ve put together a few tips to help the getting ready process go smoothly so you can bask in all your Jay-Z and Beyonce king and queen-ness all day long without breaking a sweat.
I’ve been thinking about how to put this day into words, because it was such a special wedding to be a part of. Carolyn and Sebastian are yell it with me IN LUUUUHHHVVVEEEE. Like nose burns, lots of tears in the eyes, all the romance kind of love. When I asked them what they appreciate about each other, they both mentioned how well the other loves them. I could’ve guessed that! I also wanted to share a little of their perspective from the wedding day.
Mary Margaret and Spencer tied the knot on the most perfect overcast day at the Foxhall Resort. The clouds made for some stunning portraits – let me tell ya! These two are down to earth, kind hearted, thoughtful and as genuine as you can possibly get. Their family and friends adore them, and the look […]
Kate and Kyle’s love goes back all the way to 8th grade. These two have known each other since 4th grade, but their romance started a young love in middle school! Kate says her favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle in the church it all started at (they went to the church’s school together), and being married by the Pastor who’s had such a big influence on their lives over all the years.
Lauren and Drew had friends from early childhood to ones they met on a beach in another country attend their wedding day. They never meet a stranger, and are quick to welcome people into their life party with open arms. There is no weird get to know you phase—these two are easy to talk to. They met on the first day of school at UGA, and they love their Dawgs (their friends and family sent them off with the UGA mantra appropriately).
I love watching brides strut their stuff in their dresses. Your wedding day is easily the day you feel you could take Beyonce on the catwalk because girl you are fiiiiinnneeee and everybody knows it! So naturally, that’s a pretty big decision for brides. I don’t know about you, but shopping days can go downhill quick if I feel like I’m trying to stuff myself into a sausage casing (can I get an amen!), and the last thing you want is to feel that way on dress shopping day. Girl, we gotchu! We teamed up again with fitness coach, Sandra Cauley, and she’s ready to help you bring out your inner Queen B while you frolic to dress shops!
