Hot DANG! Guys, these two could not have made my job any easier. Everything fell into place for this North Georgia Mountain Engagement. The colors, weather, light – everything was perfectly in sync! Personally, I thrive photographing in the mountains, it’s a place I feel like I create my best work. The rolling hills and all the greenery just gives me a sense of belonging. When I told Madeline and Stephen that some of my favorite locations to shoot are in Dahlonega, settled in the North Georgia mountains, they were ALL IN. The intimate mountain town also happens to be where Stephen grew up, so Madeline loved how sentimental it would be to hold their session in his hometown!

We asked Madeline what she would tell someone about finding the “right” one, her response gave me all the feels. She said “Be patient. Know your worth and clearly communicate your expectations. Forgive your partner and don’t begrudge them for past mistakes. No one is perfect and you must wake up each day and choose to fight for your relationship and fight for your partner. Sometimes love is easy, but sometimes it is very challenging. However, as long as you BOTH are willing to fight the good fight, and honesty and loyalty lie at the center of your relationship, love will conquer all and it will be the most rewarding experience.”
