Mary Margaret + Spencer | Foxhall Resort Wedding

Mary Margaret and Spencer tied the knot on the most perfect overcast day at the Foxhall Resort. The clouds made for some stunning portraits – let me tell ya! These two are down to earth, kind hearted, thoughtful and as genuine as you can possibly get. Their family and friends adore them, and the look […]

Charley | Atlanta Senior Portrait Session

This beauty is cut from her own cloth. I love that she is her own person. From her out of the box style to her playlists on Spotify to her desire to tell stories through photos, she is an influencer. Her dream is to work for National Geographic telling stories and raising awareness about social issues through photos. She’s laidback, confident, and super easy to talk to. It was a joy to explore midtown Atlanta with her. Excited to see where her adventures take her!

Kate + Kyle | Atlanta Athletic Club Wedding

Kate and Kyle’s love goes back all the way to 8th grade. These two have known each other since 4th grade, but their romance started a young love in middle school! Kate says her favorite part of the day was walking down the aisle in the church it all started at (they went to the church’s school together), and being married by the Pastor who’s had such a big influence on their lives over all the years.

Lauren + Drew | Cloverleaf Farm Wedding

Lauren and Drew had friends from early childhood to ones they met on a beach in another country attend their wedding day. They never meet a stranger, and are quick to welcome people into their life party with open arms. There is no weird get to know you phase—these two are easy to talk to. They met on the first day of school at UGA, and they love their Dawgs (their friends and family sent them off with the UGA mantra appropriately).

Friday Fit Tip: Feeling your best so you can say yes to the dress! | Georgia Wedding Photographer

I love watching brides strut their stuff in their dresses.  Your wedding day is easily the day you feel you could take Beyonce on the catwalk because girl you are fiiiiinnneeee and everybody knows it!  So naturally, that’s a pretty big decision for brides.   I don’t know about you, but shopping days can go downhill quick if I feel like I’m trying to stuff myself into a sausage casing (can I get an amen!), and the last thing you want is to feel that way on dress shopping day.  Girl, we gotchu! We teamed up again with fitness coach, Sandra Cauley, and she’s ready to help you bring out your inner Queen B while you frolic to dress shops!

Beth + Dayn | Intimate Boho Backyard Wedding

Beth + Dayn have been together for years.  They share a home, a pinch-able cutie pie, and now a last name.  When Beth, a former Free People manager, shared her vision with me, this wedding quickly became one of the most anticipated of the year.  Every minute, detail, and plant(!) had Beth and Dayn’s personalities all over it.  From the handmade jewelry to personally owned plants to that FLORAL CROWN to the favors, it was the most uniquely custom wedding I’ve ever been a part of.

Abby + Jeffrey | Spring Greystone Estate Wedding

Abby + Jeffrey tied the knot at the Greystone Estate a couple weeks ago on a beautiful spring day in Georgia, and it could not have been more perfect.  Abby’s attention to detail and style is unmatched; she owns a thriving local boutique, so this comes as no surprise. The pops of color mixed with feminine details were breathtaking, but what really made this day worth writing about were the moments expressing the tenderness of these two’s love story with their families and each other.

The Story Behind Dash | Georgia wedding and senior photographer

People ask me all the time about my start in photography, and how I came up with the name Dash. The story is very connected to me and my journey as a human, so I always enjoy sharing. I graduated from college with a degree in physical education and psychology.  I was hoping to do some sort of sports therapy and work with athletes and families within that industry. I was interested in the hobby of photography, but as a sports lover I figured that’d be the direction I’d go.  It’s crazy to me that we have to figure out what we want do with our whole life at the age of 18 (I still thought a box of kraft mac n cheese was a sufficient dinner).

I moved to Colorado the day after graduating college and two weeks after a significant and tragic death in my family.

Jackie + Mike | White Oaks Barn Wedding

Jackie and Mike tied the knot with a beautiful Smokey Mountain view.  The Georgia heat couldn’t scorch the love and romance these two exude, and the joy, y’all.  So much joy.  It was an honor being a part of Jackie and Mike’s story.
